Dear Friends,

In this edition I'm focusing on some technical issues.

  • The Glories of Programmable Database-Driven Shopping Carts
  • Preparing B2B Suppliers' Product Data for E-Procurement and E-Marketplaces
We explore programmable shopping carts that allow you to customize the ordering process, add any number of new functions, and integrate with your existing databases. In the second article I explore the challenge that B2B suppliers face in making their electronic product catalogs available to trading partners and e-marketplaces. If any of you have found lower cost solutions to porting your data to other catalog formats, please let me know and I'll pass the information along to other subscribers.

My Doctor Ebiz Internet Marketing Seminar will be in Washington DC (May 21) and Atlanta (May 23). I still have a seat available with the name on it. I hope to see you there. Sign up today. (www.wilsonweb.com/seminar).

God bless you,
Dr. Ralph F. Wilson, Editor
