Todd Follansbee, Usability and Conversion Optimization

Usability and User experience work has been Todd's focus since the mid 90's. His innovative work with Psychographic marketing and profiling had him speaking on TV and in seminars on web marketing. He has worked on a wide variety of sites including travel, health, insurance, clothing, law, retail, wholesale, online learning, newspaper, telecommunications, food, and consulting. He won or helped clients win awards in Entrepreneur Magazine, Windows Developer Magazine, and several respected newspaper website awards.
He founded WebMarketingResources.net in 1999 to pursue his usability research full time and explore the emerging field of conversion analysis.

Todd uses direct user testing, expert site analysis (heuristic reviews), and advanced traffic analytics tools (ClickTale) as well as a variety of proprietary tools to help improve client sites.
Todd's unique approach to usability focuses on persuasion psychology, communication styles, and motivation based upon personality profile to improve site effectiveness. While he has a variety of training and certifications, Todd's usability knowledge comes from his own work with industry experts, research, 11+ years of direct user test results and 20-+ years of personal success with sales and marketing.
Todd's is now partners with world-renowned usability speaker, consultant, and author Dr. Deborah J. Mayhew. His offline passion is sailing aboard his 44' Alden Ketch where he even occasionally conducts usability tests. He has over 10,000 miles of offshore sailing experience.
Todd lives in West Tisbury Massachusetts and his family now includes four daughters and partner Deborah.
